Lisa Artwork Critique
In
my
opinion, the reason why Mona Lisa’s painting is very famous because
it contains many unbreakable secrets and mystery which made those
curious scientist to know more about the painting.
Mona
Lisa is a portrait of a women drawn by an Italian artist name
Leonardo da Vinci during the Renaissance period. Leonardo da Vinci is
a genius artist during that time, not only painting sculpture and
architecture but also in engineering, military science, botany,
geology, anatomy, aerodynamics and optics. At the time, Mona Lisa is
the most famous painting in the world and
also have many controversy statements about the painting. First
reason why Mona Lisa so famous is because her mystery smile. Is
that feeling happy or sad? Nowadays many scientist still can’t
reveal the truth about Mona Lisa’s smile. However, many researchers
try to explain the Mona Lisa’s smile why
is it different from the others. Many people still don’t know about
her identity and her feeling where she come from. Professor
Margaret Livingstone of Harvard University has conflict Mona Lisa’s
smile different effect from different angle. Second reason is because
her
faint eyebrows and eyelashes. Pascal
Cotte, a engineer and inventor from French. In
October 2007, Pascal Cotte report that his ultra-high decision scans
of
the painting to show that Leonardo da Vinci initially did paint
eyebrows and eyelashes. Pascal
Cotte pronounce that he form a single hair over Mona Lisa’s left
eye. Nevertheless, the engineer say that the
Mona Lisa’s eyebrows and eyelashes possibly faded or erased by the
cleaner which
is carelessly. After that the last reason why Mona Lisa so popular is
because the argumentative about the relationship between Leonardo da
Vinci and the sitter in the painting. Some
researchers say that Leonardo da Vinci have fall in love with the
sitter of the painting. Based
on the abstraction have detected that the
Mona Lisa’s face
is look like Leonardo da Vinci’s self-portrait made in 1512.
In
conclusion, they
only believe that
the
real
Mona Lisa’s painting is in Florence.
Nowadays
many
scientist
were curious which is the mystery
smile of Mona Lisa, the Mona Lisa’s eyebrows and eyelashes and the
relationship between Leonardo da Vinci and the sitter in the
painting. So
they did the analysis
to
identified
the truth and resolve the mystery.
